Our History

Nordvegr was originally founded in the Dark Age of Camelot MMO in 2002 on the Midgard server in the Tintagel cluster. From the beginning, we have enjoyed both PvE and PvP content. As such, we have had chapters in a variety of MMORPGs, some competitive and some casually-oriented, with a focus on a relaxed, friendly, and productive atmosphere.

The name of the guild is derived from Old Norse: nord meaning “North” and vegr meaning “Way.” Therefore, Nordvegr translates to “The Way of the North” or “The Northern Way.” We maintain the tradition of a Viking theme across all chapters, which is reflected in areas such as our ranks, guild housing, and more.
